What is in it for me?

You have an encrypted cloud-based overview where you can store all information about your valuables with receipts, pictures, videos. That is incredible to have when communicating with your insurance company.

Protect: When you register all your belongings you will have a more complete list to provide to the insurance company in case of a total loss, and you will avoid a lot of discussion regarding proof and the value.

Prevent: If you buy some of our entrance warning labels, any burglar will see that your house, apartment, or office has all the items registered in the SN:Safe database, which means the burglar will have a bigger risk to get caught stealing, transporting or selling items stolen from you.

Recovery: If the police or a potential buyer checks the serial number on your item, a message will pop up, telling that the item is lost or stolen, and they can contact you directly and easily.

What product can I store at SN:Safe?

SN:Safe is primarily made to store average to high-value items that have a unique serial number (SN), such as TV, Electronic, Phone, boat, boat engine, hand tools, garden equipment, heavy-duty equipment, etc. – So to speak – everything that is born with a serial number.

If your item is lost or stolen, you have a much higher chance to recover it as the finder will be able to contact you directly – and you stay anonymous until you decide to disclose your information to the finder.

How do I add items to the SN:Safe registry?

It is very easy and simple to add your items to the SN:Safe registry. There are different levels of information you can add and you are the one who decides how detailed you are.

Basic information such as item group and name are mandatory. If the item has a serial number (SN) then we encourage you to enter that, as it will be very important information if you want to report it stolen.

If you have pictures of the receipt and photos of the item, it takes only a few minutes extra to allocate this to the item.

The timeframe to add in 100% information of your item would be less than 4 minutes, and adding in the basic information would be 1 minute.

Why does SN:Safe give burglars difficult times?

When you register your items at SN:Safe the burglars have a lot of disadvantages which might have a burglar to choose not to do a burglary at your property.

As your items are registered with serial numbers and pictures, it will be harder for the burglar to sell your stuff, as a future buyer might check the SN:Safe registry before purchasing. For the burglar, such a search has a major effect besides not selling the item. The potential buyer might report it to the police or to the owner. There is a provision at SN:Safe to report it right away, so it is no hassle to do so.

Furthermore, the transportation of the stolen items is riskier, as the police will have extended access to SN:Safe and would be able to track and trace if the items they consider suspicious are registered, even they are not reported stolen yet.

Higher risk of getting exposed combined with more effort required to sell the stolen items might get more burglars to stay away, when you clearly mark at any entrance of your property, that your belongings are registered at SN:Safe.

Why does SN:Safe help me document my insurance claim?

Insurance companies have increased their demand for evidence of what items you own when you bought it and at what price. Adding your items to SN:Safe, combined with the receipt gives you full documentation. In the event of a loss, you can mark which product, and you will be able to print a list with items and documentation to the insurance company. The more details you have added in, the stronger you can document your claim, and the harder it would be for the insurance company to reject any claim and the value of it.

If you have items with no serial number, such a jewelry, tableware, clothes, and other homeware, you would be able to save both pictures and videos for documentation purposes. You can add each item without adding a serial number. Having good photo documentation will help the police recovering it, either from a burglary or simply lost and found.

You can use SN:Safe for free to register all your documentation, the only investment you need to put into the full documentation are your time. And if the unlucky event should occur, you will properly get the value of your invested time back many times.

Can we get a company account?

If you represent a company, small or large, SN:Safe offers a solution to keep a full inventory count on the items, including the value of the total assets, receipts, and other documentation.

With a company account, you can also keep track of the location of each item, and which employee it is allocated to.

A lot of companies label all their items with the SN:SafeTag, which improves the recovery rate substantially.

For companies, SN:Safe even offer SN:SafeTag with the company logo for a very reasonable fee.
